PTR幫我去查令十字路拍了照,而且還加了註記~ 雖然書店早就不在了, 因為門牌不明顯, PTR認為原址可能成了咖啡屋,COSTA, 對於書店變成咖啡店這樣的轉變, 心裡覺得有點安慰, 因為喝過COSTA的咖啡,還不錯~ 看到那種藍色的天空, 英國特有的藍, 我想念到想哭的那種藍, 我告訴自己~ 下回去倫敦時,要帶著這本書(JH已經完成使命,找到我要的2本書), 去84 Charing Cross Road 喝咖啡~

I went to the '84 Charing Cross Road' for taking photos for you. The bookshop has moved out already. It has been the 'Pizza Hut' since I arrived here in London. The 'Costa' cafe was probably new.

The building locates in Cambridge Circus, where also the location of the Majesty Theatre (used to show 'Les Miserables').

The Charing Cross Road used to have many bookshops, including big ones like Blackwells, alternative ones like 'Silver Moon, but mostly second-hand ones. Now more and more bookshops give rooms for other stores that can make better profits.

82 Charing Cross Road

These is not number plate. But the building which accommodates Costa Cafe is the only possibility.

'84 Charing Cross Road'. A bookshop located in this address should be nice and big. The building no. 82 is behind this one on the nright.
